1. Data we collect
- Account: email address, name or username, password (encrypted, never visible to Petoo).
- Pet profiles: photos, species, breed, age, temperament and any other information you provide.
- Professionals: name of the organization, contact details, city, registration number and documents provided for verification.
- Location: your position, only when you allow it, to suggest nearby animals and professionals and to track your Petoo Go walks.
- Activity: matches, messages exchanged in the app, coins earned and offers unlocked.
2. Purposes
This data is used solely to:
- operate the service (profiles, matchmaking, messaging, Petoo Go);
- verify associations, veterinarians and partners before they are published;
- keep the platform secure and prevent fraud;
- contact you about your account.
Petoo does not sell your data and does not use it for advertising purposes.
3. Hosting and processors
Data is hosted by Google Firebase (authentication and database) and images by Cloudinary. These providers may store data outside Morocco; they only access it to provide their technical service.
4. Retention period
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, it is erased or anonymized, unless we are legally required to retain it.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, object to and delete your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at izerahne75@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP).
6. Cookies and local storage
The Petoo website uses neither advertising cookies nor audience measurement tools. The only storage used in your browser is technical storage that keeps you signed in to your professional space. It is essential for sign-in to work and is not used for any tracking.
